Why do they hate us!
The other day I was giving a presentation to a group of school children and was horrified when one of them told me that they had told the Government career adviser that they wanted to start their own business and be self employed. “Oh I wouldn’t do that” said the adviser, and then went on to say, if that person was still determined, they could offer them no help. I know people are down on kids today but this group had just the right amount of courage and attitude to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, so to those in positions of influence, encourage don’t discourage. The self employed will be the lifeblood of our economy.
